Your task:

• Design build and support complex LAN networks SDN based on Cisco and Juniper
• Development of a network and migration concept from traditional network or fabric based network to an Software defined Network
• Perform project work from concept to implementation in Cloud environments
• Complex analysis of large networks
• Implementing IPSLA or similar functionalities for E2E visibility
• Reliability engineering and consulting
• Development and set-up of a Cloud network design
• Solicitation of quotations
• Set-up, maintenance and configuration of the individual components
• A good knowledge of authentication and logging architecture
• QOS and bandwidth engineering
• Provision of traffic management

Your profile:

• EDP technology degree (university or comparable) or comparable degree in natural sciences
• Experience of administration of huge LAN Networks ( spine/leaf) and of the set-up of routers, switches and firewalls in combination with Loadbalancers
• Reliable knowledge of Farbic design and structure
• Expert level in VMWare VCF and Cisco ACI product stack, especially on network virtualization (NSX-T), automation and data center security
• Experience in the design, configuration and administration of VMWare VCF environments
• Broad technical knowledge and experience of the data center and its components mainly in the area of network of planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of IaaS and Application Workloads in context of Data Center Architecture design.
• CISCO CCIE or comparable certificates
• Reliable practical and planning experience of IPSLA
• Experience of project support
• Specialised knowledge of Cisco and Juniper  (certificates on training/courses are obligatory)
• Experience of configuration, maintenance, updates and security management of network and server components
• Excellent and state-of-the-art knowledge and practical knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating system
• Cooperative, task-orientated and matter-of -fact way of working
• Experience with modern collaboration tools in an agile environment (e.g. GitHub, JIRA, Confluence)
• English language skills in reading and writing
