Job Description

Key accountabilities • 3rd and engineering level INM support and Problem management support. • Smooth and uninterrupted operation of customers’ environment. • Conformity with the internal work instructions and process guidelines within DTAG. • Follow the defined escalation standards in case of deviations. • Investigate the root cause of incidents and initiate actions to improve or correct the situation. • Record, evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority. • Act as technical lead, solves and coordinates activities and other deliverables in order to fulfil KPIs and management requests across related technologies. • Single Point of Contact for at least one customer, area or technology within supported service. • Participate on regular and/or irregular communication with colleagues in an international environment to ensure operational goals is a must • Coordinates the use of internal technical support and vendor support to ensure troubleshooting, maintenance, and an efficient end-user support. Vendor case management • Train and participate on education of other employees. • Create and maintain documentation., about uprade procedures, shared that to the team and give engineering support during implementation and afterwards with bug fixing. • Perform team specific non-technical tasks such as quality/ process/ reporting to support daily operation. • Agile methodology knowledge and proactive approach in usage of agile principles • Ability to work independently from remote site, self-driven & self-managed individual, but also being a team-player working in a virtual team • Creative thinker with strong problem analyzing and solving skills, Willingness for self-development on new technologies and ability to apply gained knowledge in daily work • Knowledge Classic and Cloud infrastructures (OS, Network, Storage), • Knowledge of Private and Public cloud solutions (AWS, AZURE, GCV, VMware VCDR). • Knowledge in managing Operating Systems (Linux, Unix, Windows) in CLi and graphical environment – on senior level 5 years experience • Execution of API, REST API calls – advanced Technical Skills and Requirements: • Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, technical or engineering science subject or comparable professional training with more than five years of professional experience • At least five years of professional experience in complex systems management environments as a systems management engineer/senior engineer • Detailed knowledge and experience in Operating systems area Window and Unix, pwerCli, PowerShell, Bash scripting, terraform, Ansible • Experience in drive and define PoCs and roll-out projects including documentation preparation and maintane documentation • Very good overall understanding of the core technologies of a Operating Sysmtes as well as knowledge of the design of complex Public and Private clouds environments and the products used for this purpose. • Very good knowledge of cloud computing technologies and concepts, preferably with certification of the leading cloud platforms • Very good knowledge of virtualization technologies and concepts especially of the vendor specific management solution (such as VMware vROps, vCenter, NSX-T, VCDR, vcm@aws, vmc@gcv, aws.) • Very good understanding of product strategies and roadmaps, product design and evaluation process • Extensive experience in the composition of work packages and their distribution to team members, also in an international context • Ability to align technical context and facts with colleagues and other units • Coordination of project efforts and costs with internal and external customers • Driving of the testing, document creation and implementation of the new releases in Operating System area (UNIX, Windows) and engineering support of that. • Ability to work independently and on one's own responsibility • Ability to present technical facts in English as well as business fluent in English, both written and spoken
