Job Description:

Experienced Maintenance and Engineering Manager is required having 5+ years of Process Engineering in a Food and Beverage industry manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:

• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines

• Knowledge and support of company policies, products and services including Lean Manufacturing and 5 S Programs

• Must be detailed oriented, systematic, analytical, diplomatic, flexible, patient, and professional

• 4-year degree required; Chemical, Mechanical or Controls Engineering preferred.

• 5+ years of Process Engineering in a Food and Beverage industry manufacturing environment.

Responsibility:

• Manage and improve preventative maintenance program.

• Manage central maintenance efforts and construction activities including installation and maintenance of buildings and equipment.

• Coordinate maintenance planning and purchasing of equipment and MRO items.

• Facilitate the hiring of outside contractors

• Capital and Project Engineering Management; 

• Equipment design, selection and project management; 

• Ensuring safe, quality, hygienic equipment and reliable designs; 

• Ensuring plant equipment efficiency; 

• Improving the operational performance of plant equipment and maintenance management;

• Ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local laws; 

• Ensuring all plant equipment is fully utilized; 

• Leading inside and outside service teams; 

• Developing a strong technical bench.
