Hygiene Operatives 

Location: Derby 

Working Hours:  11:00 - 21:00  (45 hours), Monday to Friday. 

Salary up to £30,209 per annum (dependent on experience)

Fairfax Meadow is the UK’s favourite foodservice catering butcher and has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years.  As a Hygiene Operative in our factory, you will be responsible for the hygiene support throughout the production, warehouse, externals and amenities processes as directed. 

A satisfying role 

As a Hygiene Operative you will need to be comfortable working with a meat production environment with temperatures from zero to five degrees. Ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the correct requirements. 

What you bring to the mix 

A naturally organised person who prides themselves and their work and class themselves as a hard worker, you have everything it takes to succeed with Fairfax Meadow: 

• A positive attitude and self-motivated. 

• Good communication skills and confidence to communicate professionally. 

• Ability to motivate yourself and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.   

• Ideally food safety and Hygiene experience. 

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in a production environment.
