Transport Administrator

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00 plus overtime available

We are currently looking for Transport Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis at our Bodmin Depot. The main focus of the role is to provide support to the drivers once they have completed their drops.

As part of your duties, you will fully brief and de-brief drivers, regarding delivery performance. You’ll be preparing paperwork, filing, answering incoming and outgoing phone calls and responding appropriately in a professional manner.  You’ll need to be computer literate to input driver adjustment queries and comfortable using our Systems.

To join us in this role you will be an experienced administrator with previous knowledge or experience of fleet or transport would be advantageous. This is a busy role which requires you to work to clear timelines so you will be able to prioritise effectively to manage your daily workload. You will have great communication skills, be tenacious and resilient and above all have a desire to deliver results. You will work a 37.5 hour week Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00 with a 30 minute lunch break. Overtime is also available.

This role is extremely varied and vital to the entire warehouse and transport operation. You will be part of a small team of front desk workers supporting with administration tasks across this 24-hour operation, so teamwork is essential in liaising effectively with colleagues on other shifts.
