Job Description

As the Customer Marketing Manager for the TAL region (Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya), you will be responsible for designing and implementing growth initiatives and marketing campaigns. You will lead the process from development to implementation, defining the WHAT (offer), WHO (target groups), and HOW (messages and touchpoints) to meet annual sales and market share objectives.

Qualifications

Key Accountabilities:
   Campaign Design & Execution: Lead the reflection and development of sound marketing campaigns to maximize market penetration. Address Customer Target Groups (CTG) with differentiated offers and adequate messaging.
   Growth Initiatives: Lead and implement growth initiatives derived from the 5-year plan, orchestrating coordination among Portfolio Leads, Sales, CPD, and Regulatory teams.
   Market Insight: Act as the "voice of the market" by continuously analyzing CTG pain points and desires to adapt approaches and build effective crop campaigns.
   Grower Program Offers (GPO): Own and frame the content of campaign marketing and GPOs, ensuring they address grower needs and provide competitive advantages.
   Performance Monitoring: Monitor campaign progress against KPIs, including market share (MS) gain, CTG profiling, and the effectiveness of PULL activities.
   Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales teams to ensure alignment on P&L strategy and interact with channel partners (distributors, retailers) to ensure effective brand launches.
   Digital Integration: Collaborate with Digital Innovation and communication teams to ensure effective event management and adapted digital flows for customers.

Qualifications
Critical Knowledge:
   Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agronomy, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
   Technical Skills: Deep understanding of crop agronomy (crop cycles, resistance management, application technologies).
   Marketing Expertise: Strong grasp of marketing mix principles, segmentation, business strategy development, and financial analysis.
   Systems: Familiarity with CRM and internal systems such as Salesforce.com and AnaPlan (I-Plan).

 

Critical Experience:
   Industry Background: Minimum of 5 years of marketing or sales management experience within the agrichemical business industry.
   Regional Expertise: Deep familiarity with the North African business environment (specifically Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya).
   Project Management: Proven track record in managing complex projects, influencing stakeholders, and leading change.

 

Critical Leadership Capabilities:
   Ability to communicate with impact and lead change.
   Capability to manage for performance and collaborate across functional boundaries.
   Analytical thinking and sound project management skills.

 

Additional Information

 Location: Algiers, Algeria. Geographic Scope: Tunisia, Algeria, Libya.
   Financial Dimension: Responsibility for a $36m portfolio.
   Reporting Line: Reports to the Marketing & Business Sustainability Head, NWA.
