Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

 

  • Produce high-quality seed.
  • Coordinate the activities of plant workers.
  • Ensure the efficiency and continuity of production.
  • Coordinate plant activities during the “low” season: de-bagging, re-bagging, maintenance, and investment tasks.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Lead and continuously improve the HSE culture; act as a role model.
  • Prevent all HSE incidents.
  • Supervise work permit administration and quality control documentation.
  • Maintain the high quality of the produced seed.
  • Ensure factory operation under all circumstances.
  • Organize production processes efficiently and in a harmonized manner.
  • Support the quality control laboratory to maintain excellent product quality.
  • Ensure smooth information flow between other shift leaders and all plant departments (HSE, maintenance, plant management, logistics, warehouse).
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of plant workers.
  • Protect plant assets (prevent theft, avoidable damage).
  • Properly manage the Quality Assurance System (ISO and internal company standards).
  • Organize operations in alignment with plant KPIs, continuously monitor and measure performance.
  • Follow up on nonconformities (NCs), perform root cause analysis (RCA), create action plans and track their implementation.

Qualifications

  • SAP knowledge.
