To support this mission, Syngenta’s Continuous Nurseries team is seeking a Seed Logistics Lead in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México. This role will be responsible for ensuring that transportation and logistics activities comply with legal requirements, international regulations, and ethical standards. This role coordinates with foreign agents and transport providers to ensure efficient shipment flow, serves as the primary contact for stakeholders inquiries, and manages critical documentation.
Accountabilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate the movement of goods according to company standards and international trade laws. Apply advanced knowledge of customs legislation to all operations.
- Operational Management: Monitor business operations, report infractions, and review internal policies to mitigate risks and liabilities.
- Strategic Planning: Organize, plan, and prioritize daily workflow to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficient English level (written and spoken).
- Experience in air import and export.
- Experience in global import and export legislation.
- Previous experience in the seed industry is a plus (not mandatory).
- Deep understanding of customs legislation and import/export processes.
- Proven track record in multimodal logistics coordination ( air and land).
- Advanced data analysis skills.
- Problem Solving: Lean Manufacturing.
- Communication.
