Job Description

To support this mission, Syngenta's Vegetable Seeds Supply Chain team is seeking a Seed Warehouse Coordinator in La Mojonera, Almería. This role will support the delivery of end-to-end warehouse operations for seed inventory - including inbound receipts, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipments - working with a high degree of autonomy and close attention to accuracy and compliance, by:

Accountabilities: 

  • Manage all inbound seed receipts, storage, and outbound shipments independently, including customer pick-ups.
  • Execute order picking, packing, and shipping ensuring all documentation such as labels and shipping invoices is correctly completed.
  • Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and coordination with the internal planning team.
  • Coordinate the tasks of external contractors during peak season, ensuring they follow safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, local Spanish regulations, and Syngenta's global safety and quality requirements, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
  • Liaise with transport providers and internal supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery to customers, supporting reporting activities using Excel and SAP as required.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related role; transferable experience from other operational environments will be considered.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work - this role handles a high volume of small seed packages where labelling and documentation accuracy is critical.
  • Ability to work autonomously with full ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, and to manage unexpected situations with flexibility and initiative.
  • Experience in the agricultural, chemical, or similar regulated sector is an advantage but not required.
  • Basic working knowledge of SAP or similar warehouse management systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Spanish is mandatory; a working level of English is required for internal reporting and communication (interviews will be conducted in English).
  • Valid forklift operator license is preferred.
