To support this mission, Syngenta’s Seeds Production and Supply team is seeking a AI Solutions Lead in Pune. This role will provide strategic leadership in conceptualizing, architecting, and delivering transformative AI solutions while driving innovation, and ensuring alignment between technical excellence and business objectives.

Accountabilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Leading the design and architecture of AI solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance.
• Technical Guidance: Collaborating with development teams to understand requirements and provide expert architectural guidance and support.
• Business Alignment: Working closely with Product and Business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the AI platform effectively meets user requirements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Solution Definition: Defining clear implementation approaches, algorithms, and code structures for AI solutions.
• Successful Solution Delivery: Taking ultimate accountability for the successful end-to-end delivery of AI solutions, ensuring they are implemented, deployed, and operationalized effectively, meet defined business objectives, adhere to architectural designs and quality standards, and are delivered within project timelines.
• Technology Scouting: Staying abreast of the latest trends and emerging technologies in the AI space, evaluating their potential impact, and recommending their introduction into Syngenta's ecosystem.
• Experience Architecture: Defining, prototyping, and recommending technology solutions, detailing implementation designs, and identifying interfaces for integration with other products.

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of progressive experience in designing, architecting, and leading the end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML solutions in a cloud environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML solution architecture, including model development, deployment, ML Ops (Machine Learning Operations), and scalable data pipelines.
• Proven experience with the AWS cloud platform and AI/ML services, specifically in building and operationalizing AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases, and experience with data warehousing/data lake concepts relevant to AI/ML workloads.
• Experience with Graph and Vector databases.
• Track record of successfully leading technical teams or projects, demonstrating strong project delivery capabilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Deep technical expertise in AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python, R, Java) for development, prototyping, and integration.
• Strong architectural design skills for building scalable, robust, and maintainable AI systems that meet performance and security requirements.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to translate complex business challenges into effective AI solutions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).
• Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional and agile teams.
• Demonstrated ability to prototype, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and innovative AI solutions, aligning with strategic business objectives.
