To support this mission, Syngenta’s HR Solutions & Systems LATAM team is seeking a HR Data & Insights Advisor – LATAM in Montevideo, Uruguay. As Syngenta transforms into an Insights-Driven Organization (IDO), the Regional Data & Insights Advisor plays a critical role in shifting the function from ad-hoc data gathering to providing standardized, high-value reporting services. This role is responsible for leveraging Workday to deliver accurate data while managing regional stakeholders to drive the adoption of self-service tools.
Accountabilities
- Advise design over Workday custom reports and dashboards that ensure reliable, standardized HR data across the LATAM region based on the Workday Prism platform.
- Automate local data & reporting processes by identifying opportunities to eliminate manual tasks and free up capacity for strategic analysis.
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions, partnering closely with HRBPs and regional leaders to turn complex needs into actionable insights.
- Drive self-service tool adoption (such as Workday Prism & Discovery Boards), training teams and reducing dependency on manual, ad-hoc reporting.
- Collaborate with the global People Data Insights & Analytics structure to align regional strategy with global standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the function.
Qualifications
Required
- Advanced English - fluent communication with global stakeholders across calls, emails, and presentations.
- Advanced Workday expertise - proficiency in Workday Reporting (Matrix, Composite, Trended) and Prism Analytics to build integrated HR reporting solutions. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of Workday hands-on experience - as a Key User, in implementation, post go-live support, or consultancy. (Mandatory)
- Data visualization skills - experience creating clear, compelling dashboards using tools like Qlik or Power BI.
- Stakeholder management - proven ability to work with diverse audiences, navigate regional nuances, and influence data-driven decisions.
- Manage internal client expectations and negotiate priorities with HRBPs and CoEs on an ongoing basis.
- Communication & storytelling - ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for non-technical audiences, explaining the "why" behind the numbers.
