Job Description

To support this mission, Syngenta’s Indirect Procurement is seeking a Supplier Enablement & Onboarding Support Analyst in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Accountabilities 

  • Act as requestor for new Indirect vendors in Syngenta vendor management system
  • Work together with Procurement Buyers to ensure suppliers are onboarded on the system respecting supplier definition
  • Manage different country specific needs, document requirements and interaction with different stakeholders, Syngenta’s Requestors, and suppliers in different regions
  • Support Requesters and Procurement Buyers for missing suppliers on Guided Buying or knowledge gaps according to ways of working
  • Receive and review notifications for new qualified vendors to be created in Syngenta ERP
  • Validate Supplier documentation
  • Update supplier information on the system
  • Troubleshooting on possible technical and/or registration issues with suppliers that may have impact on PO creation, Catalogue usage, E-sourcing and/or business continuity
  • Work closely with Administrator & Catalogue Support, E-Sourcing, Procurement Support Desk and Finance Operations teams.
  • Identify and raise relevant change requests for supplier onboarding process optimization
  • Update and maintain supplier tool kit for new suppliers
  • Co-ordinate with administration team to maintain system accuracy
  • Handle supplier queries related to Ariba Network registration
  • Handle supplier queries through registration and Syngenta defined qualification process

Qualifications

Required  

  • Portuguese (mandatory)
  • English intermediate
  • Active learner mindset with vision to develop Ariba knowledge through continuous training with the team
  • Strong experience working closely with IT teams and business support teams to ensure system uptime
  • Experience with SAP and Ticket Support Systems (e.g., Jira/Snow)
  • Process review to identify insights and opportunities for operational efficiencies appreciated
  • Intellectual curiosity and professional commitment to excellence
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Attention to detail, sense of urgency, work ethic and teamwork
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to adapt in a continuous changing environment
