Job Description
- Develop and implement automation and network capital projects that optimizes formulation, packaging, analytical and logistics efficiency/responsiveness to meet increasing active ingredient complexity and volume growth.
- Design and integrate a new and updated software platform and application technology 3-year plan for LAN/OT network.
- Provide technical support during Root Cause Analysis.
- Institute stable systems that allow Operations and Quality to deliver formulated product on-time and in-full at quality levels, meeting or exceeding customer expectations to support execution of bulk and pack filling requirements.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodology to develop improvements of new equipment and automation software.
- Ensure processes for analyzing equipment criticality, increasing the reliability and availability of OT assets.
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of business processes and process networks.
- Implement a Syngenta compliant cybersecurity program, including physical hardware, to identify vulnerabilities and provide immediate and effective response to potential and actual cyber threats.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Cybersecurity Engineer, Automation Supervisor, or a closely related occupation.
Requires five (5) years of experience with: Automation Controls Engineering; OT / IT Hardware Networking; Cybersecurity Management; Project Management; Lean Six Sigma; Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View SE Network Architecture and Screen Development; ControlLogix, and Studio 5000 Logix Designer; Parameterization in PowerFlex VFD; Power BI Microsoft; FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
