Job Description
At Syngenta, we are working to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. As a Seed Sales Intern, you will participate in a curriculum-based, integrated learning opportunity that prepares you to be a leader in territory sales in the agriculture industry. You will work with our premier seed brand: NK Seed retail brand.
Location: Flexible location within the Southern United States (Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama)
What will you do as a Seed Sales Intern?
- Engage in farmer focused project(s) within your territory aligned with Sales District needs and objectives supported by the District Manager and an assigned mentor.
- Develop a general understanding of product and relevant technical knowledge
- Interact and support channel customer relationships in a defined geography
- Identify and analyze customer needs to share with the sales management and marketing organization
- Provide market intelligence and territory opportunity information when identified.
- Interact with channel partners including presentation of products information and promotional materials; For GH business identify potential new seed dealers to engage.
- Manage within budget guidance, accurately report expenses, operate and maintain company vehicle in compliance with policy, track customer interactions, and submit weekly activity reports.
Qualifications
Experience required:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline, with a graduation date on or after December 2026
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable moving violations record
- Ability to lead, be self-directed and to work as part of a team
