Responsibilities

  • Be part of process teams and open to cross stream collaboration according to business needs.
  • Provide accurate, timely and proper substantiation of financial reporting monthly submissions in line with the Syngenta Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all business transactions in ERP system according to the IFRS rules for group reporting and local GAAP rules for statutory reporting (local ERP only).
  • Accomplish with monthly, quarterly and annual Syngenta Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Main responsible for Sales reporting and intercompany matching
  • Work together with GFO (Accounting to Report partners in India) to ensure data quality and output are reliable.
  • Collaborate with Business Finance organization to verify the correctness of the accounts and provide appropriate substantiation to approve relevant accounts.
  • Contribute to high level of financial compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency in relevant processes.
  • Support internal / External audits and ensure timely remediation of outstanding audit issues.

It is indispensable for this position:

  • Student or Graduate (Accounting/Economics).
  • 2 years of experience in accounting or similar positions.
  • Advanced in English (desired).
  • Ability to work under pressure while keeping high quality of output.
  • Analytic skills, dynamic, team working, organized and attentive to deadlines.
  • Process improvement and efficiency mentality.
