Job Description
Accountabilities
- Primarily responsible for payroll service domain across multiple countries, which are supported by Delivery Centre and in-Country HR Operations.
- Manage payroll transitions and implementations with support of In-Country HR, meeting timelines, compliance needs and data transfer requirements
- Manage delivery of selected Global Payroll projects
- Ensure payroll updates with internal and external compliance requirements
- Manage payroll vendor in specific countries to ensure timely delivery of services, meeting agreed SLA and contractual fulfilment.
- Delivery of annual compensation cycle as well as payroll projects
- Ensure development & deployment of new or improved offerings, processes, policies and functions in Payroll
- Deliver analysis of volumes, trends and issues to proactively identify service improvements
- Respond to service escalations and play an active role in resolution and closure
- Management of payroll Change Requests
- Conduct audits of payroll system to ensure adequate access control and meet disaster recovery and system resiliency requirements
- Work closely with HR Operations teams and CoEs to implement, improve and deploy global services
- Any other activities that ensure successful completion of activities across the team
Qualifications
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Critical knowledge & experience
- 10-12 years’ experience in payroll management, governance and statutory compliance.
- Experience in vendor management
- Experience in the payroll transformation process (integration, implementation) and multi-country payrolls
- Knowledge of Service levels and key metrics used to drive performance improvement
- Customer service delivery against specific requirements and timelines
Critical personal capabilities
- Substantial experience in HR related roles with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Human Resource Management or associated field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high energy levels
- Excellent team player; hands-on with a can-do approach and ability to get things done
- Must be good in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Adaptable and flexible to workload, Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Ability to work in a challenging environment and multitask.
