Syngenta is seeking a dynamic Germplasm Development Lead for our Solanaceous Active Greenhouse (AGH) programs in the Americas. Based in the Netherlands, you'll have the opportunity to drive market growth and innovation while leading a team of breeders for tomato and pepper market segments.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead tomato and pepper Germplasm Development Teams
• Set priorities and manage project portfolios
• Foster PVP/IP strategy deployment
• Develop/maintain expert knowledge of tomato and pepper germplasm
• Manage pipeline screening and advancement
• Collaborate with Trait Development and Applied Genetics teams

Requirements 

• MSc or PhD in plant science, preferably breeding
• Proven success in product development and team leadership
• Strong commercial mindset and innovation focus
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred
