Job Description
- Improve site reliability by maximizing installed equipment health and rotating equipment maintenance quality.
- Review and coordinate daily activities with Reliability Engineer and area maintenance coordinators.
- Coordinate Vibration Program activities with OC (Outside contractor) to achieve Vibration monitoring compliance per Site procedure.
- Support Lubrication management activities with Reliability Engineer and oil sampling reviews.
- Perform thermography (IR) of rotating equipment for defects. Report findings and make repair recommendations.
- Manage preventative maintenance (PM) documentation quality and create follow-on work orders for defect elimination.
- Validate millwright work execution quality for new installations, priority 1 repairs, reliability group discovery repairs, and highly critical equipment through direct observation and post-completion data analysis.
- Track work discovered through reliability group activities to completion and document.
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement of auxiliary set-ups (lubrication, on-stream monitoring, etc.) leveraging technology and industry best practice.
- Lead administration of predictive and preventative maintenance data acquisition hardware and software.
- Develop and report key metrics for group effectiveness and improvement such as sitewide Asset Health.
- Report, successful equipment mitigations, etc.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 10+ years of field hands on experience as a Millwright Technician working in all type of rotating equipment in an Industrial and/or Chemical Process Environment.
