Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To plan, achieve, maintain and defend approvals/registrations for a portfolio of Syngenta products to meet marketing objectives and compliance with the regulatory requirements in Hungary
  • To prepare/submit approval applications for the assigned products to the appropriate country authority in accordance with country regulatory requirements and agreed timescales.
  • To liaise effectively with regulatory authorities and Syngenta regulatory and Product Safety functions to ensure that approval applications are progressed.
  • To co-ordinate the strategic input to marketing and sales teams and to manage the regulatory projects for her product portfolio.
  • To manage and deal with key issues as and when they arise.
  • To maintain a current awareness of regulatory matters and ensure current requirements are followed in approval applications.
  • To analyze trends in Regulatory Affairs matters and recommend improvements/changes in the procedures to regulatory teams and line management
  • To maintain master records in Syngenta’s databases of all approved products ensuring that they reflect the terms and conditions of approval issued by the regulatory authority.
  • To ensure all data is stored in an orderly and easily retrievable manner.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:

  • Regulatory experience (minimum 2 year) in Country teams
  • Good understanding of the CP Business
  • Scientific degree (MSc) in agriculture, biology, toxicology, chemistry or environmental safety.
  • Minimum 2 years’ practical experience in registration of CP products
  • Excellent knowledge of national regulatory process, methodology and CP legislation
  • Knowledge in product safety or chemistry discipline such as toxicology, ecotoxicology or environmental fate etc.
  • To be able to review and concisely summarize scientific data
  • To review summaries prepared by other regulatory managers when necessary and requested
  • To have good verbal, negotiation, influencing, analytical and written communication skills.
  • Good office tool & database user knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluent in English and good communication in HUN language
