Job Description

As an A2R Operations Accountant Intern you will be part of a team of professionals working to ensure the correctness, timely submission and substantiation of financial reporting in line with group IFRS and local requirements. You will have the opportunity to manage various accounting and reporting tasks, shape our A2R processes and participate in process improvement initiatives.

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Working closely with A2R teams, the chosen candidates will gain experience in assigned activities of Financial Accounting, Analysis and Audit support
  • Working on data download and analysis, seeking opportunities to improve effectiveness
  • Assisting in audit, compliance and month-end closing activities
  • Cross functional learning opportunities
  • Participating in S4/HANA implementation
  • Job shadowing and be part of our operating teams

Qualifications

At Syngenta we are highly people focused – we look for professionals who are engaged, collaborative and excellent in execution. You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Ongoing full-time studies at University on BSc or MSc level in Finance, Data Analysis, Accounting or another closely related fields
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint. SAP is welcomed
  • Fluency in English
  • The ability to work well and deliver under partly remote mentoring
  • Ability to work 20-25 hours/week
