Job Description

You will: 

  • Learn and adhere to Syngenta safety and stewardship policies 
  • Participate in tier meetings, HSE meetings, and other team meetings as needed 
  • Perform fieldwork including soybean disease planting, winter wheat harvest, staking plots, field data acquisition such as emergence notes, plot quality notes, plant height and stand counts 
  • Work with state of the art and proprietary harvesting and phenotypic data collection equipment 
  • Manage data from experiments which includes acquisition and analysis support 
  • Assist with field agronomic practices and activities 
  • Have the opportunity to obtain your FAA Part 107 Drone License

Qualifications

What you must have: 

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Enrollment in an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree program in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Business, or another closely related field of study 
  • Interest in the seed production industry and willingness to learn  
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
