Job Description

  • Build, test, and maintain robust, scalable, secure, highly available data pipelines that store, clean, transform, and aggregate data.
  • Design and develop data flow using AWS cloud analytics tools.
  • Participate in all phases of the Enterprise Data platform development life cycle as appropriate; including, but not limited to gathering customer requirements, defining technical requirements, creating high level architecture diagrams, data validation etc.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to deliver impactful insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
  • Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness by implementing data validation, monitoring, and error handling methods.
  • Improve automation and simplifying data as a service.
  • Position includes option to telecommute from any location within the U.S.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and eight (8) years  of experience in the position offered or eight (8) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, IT Analyst, or a related occupation.
  • Requires four (4) years of experience with: analysis of business/system requirements; AWS related technologies including: S3, Glue, Redshift, and Apache Spark; creating pipeline and framework for the data ingestion and data storage using Informatica, Talend and Databricks; and Data modelling, including data mart or data warehouse solutions.
  • Requires three (3) years of experience with: designing star/snowflake data model; and developing and deploying reports using PowerBI or Tableau to meet the analytical needs of the business department(s). Must pass a background check and drug test before beginning employment.
