Job Description
This role concerns the support to SD Operations in MAAG on :
Functional Planning, Trials preparations and Data Analysis
- Ethics, HSE, GSPP and QM Commitment and accountability. Perform all tasks in a compliant manner with company safety policies, including completing all required training sessions and attending local safety meetings.
- Work with local activities to ensure efficient delivery of SD Vegetables portfolio of activities: use of space, period, resources in alignment with veg strategy.
- Create clear overviews of supply & demand with Vega, enabling budgeting process with the use of the applicable tools.
- Report deviations in a way that management will be able to make a decision, based on the information.
- Ensure accuracy in the registration of working hours per activity (hour registration) and propose (re) charging to others Cost Centre if necessary.
- Cost calculation (according to budget) per activity, as well as indication of costs of extra work
- Participate in research and process-improvement projects related to the planning tools and data man Analysis of vegetables crops portfolio.
- Incorporate leading capabilities and technologies into daily Data Management operations in order to bring the highest quality of deliverables.
- Own and optimize the plan and data nursery delivery (Quality, quantity and timelines).
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of Syngenta employees and 3rd party labor under his responsibility of trials preparations, data and Plan execution.
- Effectively communicate with peers, and supervisors regarding the status of planning , Data, trials preparations and work activities.
- Contribute to the constant improvement of Continuous Nursery processes to increase accuracy of delivery date, increase capacity of facility, increase quality of nursery trials , make efficient use of resources and improve/simplify the overall ways o working.
Qualifications
Critical Experience:
* Experience and knowledge of operational processes.
- Work with VEGA Tool and resources.
- Experience in agriculture and Data Management
- People management experience to effectively lead team of permanent and temporary employees.
- Experience in managing operational processes including management of infrastructure and relevant resources.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence (LSS)
- Demonstrated ability to identify critical issues and engage with cross functional stakeholders to solve problems in timely manner
- Critical Capabilities:
- MS Office tools and digital fluency to effectively capture data and manage the Trials using appropriate IT systems.
- Results orientation and drive to deliver high result on planning execution and Data.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage complex processes requiring alignment between multi-functional teams.
- Agility and willingness to change plans and meet critical delivery timelines. (KPI dashboard)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
