At Syngenta, we believe every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge, the Production Supply team is currently seeking a Site Operations Specialist Sr., located in Waterloo, NE. 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in similar role
  • Technically proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Advanced knowledge of accounts payable software
  • Understanding of professional etiquette and office protocols
  • Experience leading projects or small teams
  • Willingness to work outside standard hours as necessary

  • Ability to provide support to visitors, vendors, and colleagues in professional manner
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle office tasks, such as scheduling, calendar management, and travel arrangements
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage workload

Responsibilities 

  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Act as a site resource for project initiatives
  • Responsible for understanding the day to day of the site operations.
  • Coordinate and manage administrative and advanced tasks such as filing, record keeping, and data entry, contract labor reporting and timecards.
  • Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget accountability / reporting
  • Support, execute and track settlements, orders, contracts, payments, purchase orders.
  • Answer incoming calls, acting as tier 1 support or escalating to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Provide general administrative support to the site as needed including on-site meetings and events.
  • Prepare and process various documents such as purchase orders, shipping documents, and invoices.
  • Support change management and delivery of new processes.
  • Plan, support, and coordinates employee / site engagement activities
  • Inventory management of site essentials (materials, supplies, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain compliance with site HSE protocols and Syngenta HSE policies and employee code of conduct.
