Job Description

Role purpose

To lead IT prioritized initiatives with the business in the IT portfolio.
To provide project and process design and be the link between business / Technical teams during IT initiatives
To engage with clients on continues improvement to enable business processes to be fully effective in the global functions or region. 
To manage escalations on incident management

Accountabilities

  • Engage with clients to drive process design and continuous improvement
  • Provide process expertise in order to challenge, support, enable and improve business processes
  • Identify changing business needs that might lead to the requirement for change or improvements to processes in a domain
  • Contribute to the implementation of the strategic direction for each of the process areas together with regional stakeholders
  • Support the early idea and design phases of regional and global projects
  • Support the implementation of the framework through which the Design Authority teams assess compliance with the global process standards
  • Work with the IT LT to establish annual or periodic processes for project portfolio, IT budgeting, business architecture, technology identification, technology sourcing, people and skills development and other IT support activities.
  • Support the delivery of the regional IT portfolio with an agile and engaged IT delivery capability in collaboration with territory IT Leaders.
  • Point of escalation for incidents for all the IT streams.
  • Local change requests prioritization for all the IT stream.

Strategic Planning: Create or Co/create project charters with business, helping to drive first solutioning directions, high level estimate and cost overview (with support of platforms) ​

Project management: Overseeing IT projects from conception to implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the business needs.​

Stakeholder  management: Acting as a bridge between the IT department and other business units, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into IT requirements.​

Risk Management and Compliance: Accountable for project risks mitigation, no matter which executing team is responsible.​

Facilitate any important Business Stakeholders intervention required from IT Teams (Projects, CRs or Incidents)​

Status & Reporting: Ensure project status to Steering Committees & Business, protecting the scope during project execution and driving decisions with relevant stakeholders when required

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Identify the need to improve business processes, define the IT solution and then set the priority regarding the implementation
  • Collaborate with other IT Teams to ensure solution includes all end to end impacts
  • Excel in the area of analytical thinking and IT change management capabilities and be able to mentor others within this space
  • Be a leader within an IT organization and apply their principles to all aspects of work performed within the assigned functional area
  • Support the successful implementation of IT change critical to business strategy
  • Have experience in playing critical role in the implementation of a significant update to Commercial business strategy
  • Diagnoses trends and critical relationships using data, logical analysis and insight to pinpoint underlying issues
  • Develops relationships with key decision makers and influencers. Gains trust and respect of project teams and manages conflict
  • Recognizes customer needs and initiates actions to meet these
  • Has project management expertise under waterfall and / or Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge or understanding of (at least basic) SAP SD or Salesforce
