About Us

To support this opportunity, Syngenta is currently seeking a Commercial Unit (CU) Marketing Lead in Memphis, TN.

As a Marketing Lead you will be accountable to deliver business results by guiding the development and execution of customer campaigns in alignment with our Customer Campaign service model

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of assigned customer campaigns and work with Crop & Product Marketing, Digital Ag, Program Specialists, Sales, and KAM (Key Account Management) to develop strategies and tactics at the grower and channel level.
  • Lead Customer Campaign Team for assigned segments.
  • Monitor product sales and proactively intervenes as needed to obtain budget targets.
  • Remove bottlenecks impacting the business to support field force effectiveness within defined geography.
  • Deliver Commercial Unit monthly forecasts for assigned products
  • Acts as the key liaison between frontline sales force and marketing to ensure effective customer campaign execution.
  • Serve as the primary communication lead for assigned segments/products. Provide marketing support for sales teams, integrate national communications into customer campaigns, and help develop local communications for products with minimal National Coverage.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials to customers (advertising, technical collateral, tradeshows, etc.). Ensure the Syngenta brand is presented effectively, consistently, and aligned with global brand standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Marketing, and/or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Ag Business.
  • Up to 30% travel is required for this position.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship support from Syngenta.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of marketing and sales excellence principles.
  • Understanding and utilization of MaSE methodology.
  • Ag Sales Experience.
  • Understanding of agriculture, marketplace dynamics, competitive environment and Syngenta customer needs.
  • Excellent creativity skills coupled with a excellent customer focus orientation.
