• As an experienced change agent, be the digital ambassador onsite, guide and engage with site cross functional personnel to drive and support Global Syngenta Smart Manufacturing Initiatives and site digital transformation initiatives and act as Subject Matter Expert if needed.
• The Change Agent will use their experience in OpEx tools and Continuous Improvement methodologies to guide and support site personnel, helping to drive successful change implementations while also improving skills of those they support.
• Develop and enhance digital dashboards with Smart Manufacturing team and other cross functional team onsite to improve data transparency and foster a culture of digital innovation and data-driven decision making to increase operation productivity.
• Advise on adopting new automation and digital technologies to advance and optimize plant systems and processes in line with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Create smart data analytics solutions for production KPIs tracking, oversee digital transformation projects, analyze plant data and identify opportunities to boost operation OEE, quality and safety.
• Serve as ManEx Local Change Agent on an ad-hoc basis performing operational discipline assessment/diagnostic, design, and implementation on key processes related to Syngenta Production System (SPS) to guide productivity increase.
• Work with a range of cross functional partners and wider business capabilities (Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HSES, Quality, Logistics, Supply Chain, Planning and Process Technology) to guide the journey to transform Syngenta’s operating model and sustain improved performance.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to ensure People Centered Implementation of change, and act as catalyst to strengthen transformational breakthrough.
• Perform assurance and process confirmation to ensure adherence to SPS standards, agreed governance framework and delivery process.

Required:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering (prefer Chemical or Mechanical or Automation/Control) or Applied science or Chemistry with relevant work experience.
• Significant knowledge in Smartsheet development and application.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
• Knowledge of data collection and analytic software such as PI-Historian, Power BI, and Seeq would be a plus.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and Visual Basic would be a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Excellent understanding of working ethics and experiences in various production unit operations in chemical plants (minimum 5-10 years).
• Experience in plant automation, digitalization, IT, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Experience in data science, engineering, and management. Well-versed in process data analysis using data analytic and visualization tools.
• Delivery of continuous improvement or similar project activities within a large organization, combined with the ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and monitor multiple concurrent activities in order to meet timelines, influencing teams over which they have no line management accountability.
• Excellent understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Total Effective Equipment Performance (TEEP).
• Good knowledge of project management processes including both agile/scrum and traditional waterfall approaches.
• Excellent understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma/ Kaizen/ OpEx).
• Excellent understanding of People Centred Change philosophies and the importance of good facilitation in change management.
