Job Description

Purpose:

The job holder actively participates and contributes to small and medium-sized projects, alongside which he/she will be providing key support and structure to several different global HR processes.

Accountabilities

High-Level Overview

  • Responsible for assessing opportunities to improve our annual cycle supporting operational processes and leading on the improvement activities through to implementation.
  • Responsible for building strong partnerships with C&B and POD CoEs across multiple Business Units to identify end-user and CoE improvements and facilitate the delivery of these, either within regions or with Workday technical colleagues
  • Responsible for global Annual Compensation Cycle activities:
    • Maintenance of « Offline Tool » and « Offline Compensation Statement Tool » which enables the production of statements each year and is a critical asset for HR Operations Management Team
    • Responsible for the production of offline calculations and statements ensuring high levels of quality and accuracy.
    • Responsible for the delivery mechanism of offline statements, ensuring data protection is maintained.
    • TCA
      • Responsible for the nomination process of Talent Cash Award (TCA) employees
      • Responsible for the calculation of Talent Cash Award (TCA) amounts of nominated employees
    • PSP
      • Responsible for the consolidation, assignment, and load of country-specific Profit-Sharing Plans (PSP) to all 28k+ employees at Syngenta AG
    • Supports Global Annual Cycle C&B Lead prepares material to support senior executive meetings on compensation.
    • Chair the regional coordinator calls on a weekly basis, during the Annual Comp cycle (Q1) to ensure regional alignment.
    • Co-chairs the global drumbeat calls to ensure cycle execution is completed to plan
  • LTI
    • Responsible for monitoring the global LTI mailbox and for ensuring that all functional and end-user queries are resolved, reaching out to experts as required.
    • Supports LTI activities that occur monthly and as part of the Annual Compensation Cycle i.e. new LTI recipients, leavers validation, payouts etc.
  • Training and education of HR Community  
    • Set-up of dedicated webinars to support the recurring training of the global HR community & global HR Operations community.
    • Responsible for supporting the delivery of the calls, including preparing material and creating/adjusting videos using Vyond
  • Monthly headcount reporting for service vendor.
  • Global Service Announcements
    • Issues global announcements, and notifications to the targeted audience
  • HR Professional pages, SharePoint Online & ServiceNow updates
    • Supports review and update of named pages to ensure correct information on both platforms is available.
  • Representing HR Operations Delivery Team in global projects with the accountability to set-up a Service & Support Model, Knowledge Articles, train HR Operations & Delivery Centers etc.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical experience:

  • 7+ years of work experience, at least 3 years in HR
  • Sound experience with Workday HR modules for the respective processes
  • Sound knowledge in Excel
  • English language skills
  • Experience in working in an international environment.
  • Compensation
