Job Description

Role purpose:
• Act as an interface for Financial Forecasting, Budgeting, Tracking and Reporting Sales for India CP Business.
• Provide strategic MIS support including Sales Analytics for the NSM’s and coordinate with the CP divisions for monthly business delivery tracking and reviews.
• Responsible for supporting overall sales execution for CP India.
• Design and develop data driven Sales Incentive Plan roadmap for CP India commercial function

Accountabilities:
• Manage projects or supervise individuals
• Requires knowledge and understanding within own discipline/work area (often entails mastery of scientific theories) and relevant legislation
• Requires formal qualification/vocational training and experience in own area of expertise
• Develops or improves known methods, products, procedures and systems
• Analyses, solves and communicates problems through selection of appropriate existing solution
• Evaluates new ideas and possibilities
• Builds relationships with key contacts within own network, internally and occasionally externally
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with staff at all levels within Syngenta

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities:

Critical knowledge:
• Agriculture Graduate / Post Graduate
• Grower behavior and agro business trends in the division specifically and country at large
• Channel structures and behavior
• Sales and Marketing principles

Critical experience:
• Proven track record in in sales and sales management (minimum 7 years)
• Proven leadership skills and line management experience
• Proven track record in being a good team player and team management skills
• Strong ability to understand customer needs, structure and business drivers
