Job Description
Role purpose:
Regional HR Operations Specialist acts as a subject matter expert on HR Processes across the full employee lifecycle in EAME. Person in this role ensures that the Country HR teams and HR operational vendors are adhering to global standard procedures and setup of the HR Service model.
Responsibilities:
- To provide operational and business critical support to the EAME HR country teams on the end-to-end process, technology, and service
- To run orientation sessions for HR new joiners
- To cascade details of changes to systems and processes to all countries across region ensuring communications adjusted to the different service models within the region
- To guide Country HR teams on ‘How To’ queries related to systems and processes
- To contribute proactively at Global/ Regional / Local levels as required, sharing Knowledge Management and approaches to improve effectiveness of delivery
- To ensure that the Knowledge Management database is kept updated with learnings from the region including building training materials
- To support the Regional Operations team in ensuring that the service delivery model is running as per design
- To lead the delivery of HR Operations & HRBP community connect calls
- To support GDPR requirements and ensure services provided are compliant with GDPR and Syngenta Code of Conduct
Qualifications
- Sound HR Operations experience or substantial experience in HR related roles with appropriate area(s) of expertise (Diploma level)
- Proactive customer delivery focus
- Ability to be sensitive to regional and cultural differences while driving change implementation
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally in English at all levels of the organization especially with senior members of the HR function, any additional EAME language would be a plus
- Knowledge of HR Systems – Workday and Service Now (or other ticketing system) is crucial
- Analytical and creative skills to deal with problems and opportunities
- Knowledge of Service levels and key metrics used to drive performance improvement
