Job Description

Accountabilities

Business accountabilities

Analytics

  • Sales liquidation and commercials: Tracking and sharing with the Division Team
  • Commercials (Sales, liquidation, collections)
  • Data insights and productivity analysis from tools such as Saksham, SFDC, DMS
  • Channel Performance, Campaign performance
  • A&P Analysis
  • Any other division specific data

Vendor management

  • Identify and maintain relation with local Vendors
  • Ensure Vendor meets Syngenta Standards 
  • Ensure timely contracts & payments

Admin

  • Admin support for Key Division Meetings
    • Capturing minutes of the meetings
    • Tracking Performance against the agreed actions
  • Distributor agreements – Ensure order, error checks linkage with legal and finance team.
  • Point of contact for support in Pune will be Commercial Operations (support on analytical frameworks, support on system data etc.)

KPIs

  • Timely delivery of data
  • Accuracy of Analytics
  • Timely payments to vendors

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge

  • Sales and Marketing principles, particularly around campaign mgmt and marketing communications
  • Understanding of agri and rural marketing concepts and methods

Critical experience

  • Proven track record in in sales and sales management (minimum 5-7 years)
  • Proven leadership skills and line management experience
  • Proven track record in being a good team player and team management skills
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs, structure and business drivers

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • Coordination across functions, in particular with sales teams
  • Influencing capability at country and Division leadership level
  • Handling pressure of multiple campaigns in various regions of the division
