Job Description
Accountabilities
Under the supervision of the Country Director the Digital delivery and data analysis (Intern) will support the coordination and execution of the projects Nigeria. He/she will also support the role of monitoring and evaluation for all activities in Nigeria according the Performance Measurement System (PMS) mainly to :
- Support the Head of Agri-Services, Seeds2b and Insurance streams
- Support to develop technical tools including logical frameworks and results chains of the various projects for performance measurement.
- Manage the databases and ensure timely recovery of field data;
- Support to design and conduct studies and surveys as needed;
- Support to prepare project reports and necessary communication materials.
- Participate in field missions and meetings scheduled during the period of realization of his mission;
- Support in the monitoring of Implementation of the activities listed in the project timeline
- Evaluation of the KPIs for each project
- Support to reassess the constraints encountered in implementing and monitoring the activities of the activities of SFN.
- Engagement with Farmers’ Hub manager at Hub in managing the Hub’s day-to-day activities
- Farmers mobilization for meetings/trainings/Demos/field days etc.
- Perform other related duties as required by and instructed by the SFSA supervisors
Qualifications
Critical knowledge
- Master degree in Economic, Agro-economic, or Statistical or –Economic
- One to Two years’ experience in the field of Management of Project
- Two (2) years’ experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation of agricultural projects in West Africa.
Critical experience
- Excellent knowledge of quantitative analysis tools (computer and statistical) is essential,
- Good capacity for analysis,
- Very good oral communication and writing technical reports
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
- Good experience in management of Project
- Good experience in data analysis.
- Capacity to conduce base line study and survey in agriculture.
- Good skills in statistical software (SPSS, STATA, SAS, R, eg.)
- Have good writing, editing, and written and oral communication skills.
