Job Description

  • Responsible for delivering a consistently high level of agronomic technical support to Crop Protection, Seeds and/or Turf, Landscape and Pest Management customers by providing timely and professional responses to product and/or program inquiries
  • Deliver a positive customer experience by providing accurate and timely product information to internal colleagues and end use customers
  • Support the product inquiry process by actively participating in contact center activities (phone, email) to support Crop Protection, Seeds and Professional Solutions customers
  • Liaison with regulatory and product safety teams to ensure the Technical Support team is equipped to address related product inquiries
  • Support product stewardship activities by communicating proper application and use of our products
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the most accurate information is available for communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other teams including Technical Training and Development, Sales Agronomy, Digital Agronomy, Regulatory, and Product Marketing

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in agricultural studies (Agribusiness, Agronomy, Crop Science, Regulatory Science, Soil Science, Turfgrass Management, and/or related field)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship support from Syngenta

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in an agricultural or regulatory science is preferred but not required
  • The ability to fluently communicate (written and spoken) in both English and Spanish is also preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a call center environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of Syngenta products and services along with agronomic trends and practices using a variety of learning tools and development opportunities
  • Understanding of regulatory and/or toxicological aspects of the crop protection industry
  • Experience with software platforms (e.g. MS Office including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint; SalesForce; SAP; SmartSheet)
