Job Description

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payrolls, and handle all related inquiries on payroll issues, social insurance, and taxation.
  • Be accountable for HR compliance in line with local regulations and standards, and deal with local authorities for Reward-related matters and audits.
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and local CoEs and HRBP colleagues to design and deliver best practice HR solutions, and provide counsel and advice on corporate, labor, and statutory compliance matters.
  • Drive the development, implementation, and delivery of new services, maintaining focus on customer centricity using continuous improvement methodology to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and implement all aspects of people policies in Switzerland, and initiate and deliver HR projects as appropriate.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of payroll processes, and deputize for the Lead Reward Operations Switzerland.
  • Conduct various monthly and yearly reconciliations related to HR accounts in conjunction with Accounting Team and tax authorities.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in relevant HR or Finance roles, with interaction with external parties, and a track record of effective delivery of HR or Finance initiatives, processes, policies, tools and procedures in a global organization.
  • Experience in implementing projects and managing change in a multinational company environment, and process design and implementation.
  • University degree in Finance, Business or Accounting, or another relevant Payroll qualification (HR Fachfrau/mann, Sachbearbeiterin HR/Payroll).
  • Professional knowledge of Swiss payroll accounting, social security and income tax law, and good understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • Fluent in German and English, and French is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a complex multinational business environment, with focus on international payroll for multiple entities.
