Job Description

  • Plan studies, analyze research data and present conclusions in detailed reports and presentations
  • End-to-end quality management: ensure and maintain optimal (input vs output) scientific quality and standards in experimentation, analysis, and interpretation
  • Effectively use agronomic, crop protection research, and business knowledge
  • Collaborate with internal Syngenta functions and within external global collaborations
  • Support the development, enhancement, and marketing of Seedcare products with technical input based on experiments
  • Position includes mainly lab work

Qualifications

  • Strong research background in microbiology and ideally nematology (PhD or BSc/MSc with equivalent experience).
  • Strong interest in practical lab work
  • Additional background in molecular biology and professional experience working in agronomy or crop protection is a plus.
  • Experience with handling large data sets - data storage, reporting, analysis, and visualization tools
  • Provide knowledge and insights to research, development, and business teams on technical and scientific aspects in own area of expertise
  • Fluency in English, German considered as a plus
