Job Description

We are looking for a Learning and Engagement Specialist who will contribute to the development of a learning culture within the Syngenta Group Legal Department. In this role, you will:

  • Create, manage and lead Learning and Development activities for the Legal team globally
  • Monitor and control the impact of the activities
  • Propose and lead new and impactful learning initiatives

Accountabilities:

  • Continue to develop the Growth For All Farm and provide learning and development opportunities to our community globally
  • Work in close collaboration with the Global L&OD team and other functional Academy leads to align on the global learning offer and avoid duplication of efforts
  • Assess, select and manage Vendors; participate in the contract negotiation with the Procurement Business Partner
  • Create impactful engagement plan to ensure appropriate use of the learning resources across the Syngenta Group Legal Department

Roll-out

  • Plan training sessions, manage the nomination/enrollment process, organize the logistics and facilitate the training event as needed
  • Lead the implementation of Development Edge, in terms of content and visitors and keep on improving Learning Edge
  • Lead the Mentoring program, the Learning Loud initiatives and the Masterclasses
  • Actively support the delivery of the Career day (content design and logistics)
  • Manage the onboarding sessions for new joiners
  • Ensure TrainTrax is properly used across the organization

Measurement

  • Define KPIs for the different learning activities and tools (Learning Edge, Development Edge, TrainTrax) to assess the impact of the learning offer
  • Initiate discussions to continue, improve or stop learning activities according to KPI results

Qualifications

What are we looking for:

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and measuring impact of learning activities
  • Some experience in delivering training content
  • Good knowledge of Learning Management system – Knowledge of Degreed a plus
  • Strong communicator (written/verbal), experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to teamwork, to establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Proven fast learner, able to quickly apply new knowledge and skills 
  • Creative and solution driven mindset
  • Flexible, adaptable, and open minded
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Able to lead project end-to-end: from idea creation to implementation
