The PM will deliver and execute cross functional projects within Production & Supply through mobilization, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.

Job Description

  • Ensures assigned projects deliver to expectations set by the Project Sponsor / Owner.
  • Project Management of assigned initiatives within Production and Supply portfolio.
  • Works closely with key stakeholders, functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and operational functions to drive change projects.
  • Provides transformation & change expertise to key cross-functional change projects.
  • Helps to maintain consistently high standard project activities using recognized standards and best-practices, in-keeping with Syngenta’s 3PM framework and sharing effective tools/techniques.
  • Leverages the Syngenta tools/methodologies (eg OPEX, PMP, MSP and PCI) to accelerate and sustain the changes.
  • Contributes to the global network of experts within the Global P&S CoE to ensure global alignment and scalability of major global projects.
  • Preparation of regular project management deliverables, including, but not limited to: Steering Committee material; Portfolio Board updates; Flash Reports; Risk & Issue Logs; Program Plan & individual Project Schedules; communication, budgets, scope, and variance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, business management, logistics, engineering
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Expert in change tools and methodologies (eg Change First)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Professional certification in Project or Program Management (e.g. PMP or MSP) desirable
  • Knowledge of Project and Program management recognized best-practices and frameworks, such as MSP and PMBoK
  • Capability to collaborate across boundaries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional certification is an advantage (APICS, lean six sigma, etc. …).
  • Robust understanding of supply chain processes / best practices
  • Good understanding about ERP systems like SAP R/3 and SAP APO
  • Mastering in using Microsoft Office (Power-point, Excel…)
  • Be familiar with methods and tools to improve all aspects of supply chain (People, system and processes). Strong focus on end-to-end thinking, operations and logistics
