Job Description

As Laborant Formulation, you will carry out laboratory formulation work. You will have the chance to gain more work experience and expand your professional knowledge. This role is a great opportunity as a first job after the apprenticeship as a laboratory assistant.
With this job, you will be in the hub of an international network of chemists, engineers, production sites, and supply chain professionals. You will work in a dynamic team collaborating with process technology teams from our network of formulation sites, corporate functions, and with many other colleagues across Europe and elsewhere. Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for safety, cleanliness, functionality, and use of work-relevant equipment and their environment
  • Carries out Physical-chemical tests according to test methods
  • Exact following of methods and plans
  • Formulation of simple formulation types (eg. EC, SC)
  • Performing experimental work programs. Non-standard work can only be carried out under supervision.
  • Documentation of experiments and test results for the subsequent evaluation by the line manager

Qualifications

  • Vocational training (qualification as a chemical laboratory technician or similar, preferably in the field of galenic, eg Labroant Fachrichtung Galenik mit EFZ)
  • Ability to carry out new work programs independently after the introduction
  • Ability to conduct lab work whilst maintaining a tidy and clean work environment and adhering to the relevant safety regulations
  • Use of Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and ability to compile data adequately for reports and presentations
  • Knowledge of LIMS and ELN is an advantage
  • Communication skills in German at least level B2 and additional English skills at least level A2
