We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Intern to join our Global Information Security Team and work on developing tools and documentation to secure our Operations Technology Manufacturing Network.
You will work directly with our Information Security Team and other subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand security needs of our Manufacturing environments so we can build effective Operations Technology security controls that will safeguard Syngenta’s role in eliminating hunger. You will be part of a team focused on positively influencing security culture within Syngenta, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the continued safety and security of our employees and customers.

This position is available in our Illinois locations in Downer’s Grove or Chicago, but can be partially remote.
Estimated Duration: May 2023-August 2023
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop training courses that align with learning outcomes, apply research-based learning principles, and inform learner progress and success in online learning environments.
- Use e-Learning authoring tools to build online learning experiences that include assessments, interactive activities, animated videos, graphics and images, and text-based content.
- Manage and execute curriculum maintenance review and implementation cycles.
- Script, Storyboard and edit Manufacturing Security How-to videos
A day in the life
- Partner with key stakeholders for the assigned training projects to build an understanding of the request, create the storyboard and develop e-learning solutions.
- Research and track the implementation of security solutions for Operational Technology environments.
- Prepare how-to videos, graphics and support development of simple courses for monthly cyber campaigns

Qualifications
Skillset
- Interest in or Knowledge of Operational Technology, user instructions in a manufacturing setting and industrial process design
- Experience with concepts of learning management systems (LMS)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and client
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize
- Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Willing to learn Course development software such as Articulate Storyline and iSpring Suite
- Visual design skills (Visio, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
- Video creation and editing (Adobe Captivate, Powtoon, Vyond)
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Enrolled in a BS or MA degree program in industrial engineering, instructional design, educational technology, graphic design, marketing or related fields
