Job Description

About this Job:

 

 

Role title               : SME A2R

Location                : Pune

 

 

Role Purpose:

 

·       Deliver finance operations activities in line with Global Syngenta Standards (GSM), Finance Target Operating Model (TOM), other applicable corporate policies and procedures.

·       Act as Subject matter expert and point of contact for a given geographical area in relation to One of A2R Core processes.

·       Coordinate and Issue management of A2R MEC Activities (Journals, Inter Company, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Accounting, Asset Management, MEC Activities and Group Reporting teams collaborate effectively with Finance Operations Team.

 

Accountabilities:

 

·       Support best practices, knowledge and implementation of them to improve processes/services.

·       Support Continuous improvements in the process, in line with the digital strategy.

·       Timely delivery of relevant management reports and /or services to ensure accurate recording of all business transactions in ERP system according to the IFRS rules for group reporting and local GAAP rules for statutory reporting (local ERP only)

·       Collaborate with Finance Operations to ensure data quality and output are reliable and meeting defined performance KPI’s

·       Support continuous improvement and efficiency in relevant processes

·       Expected to deliver quality result in fast changing business environment

·       Preparation of internal and external audit information.

Qualifications

Experience required for the job

·       Concern for high standards and data accuracy and service mindset

·       3-6 years of experience in multinational environment

·       Ability to communicate financial information to a finance audience

·       Proficient knowledge of handling end to end A2R activities for a large multinational company.

·       Sound in economics, finance, or accounting background

·       Experience with ERP systems. SAP proficiency required

·       Should have sound accounting skills in reconciliations and accounting treatment.

·       Should have managed stakeholder in a multi country set up.

·       Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization

·       Bachelor/Master/MBA in Economics or Finance

·       Holds professional Finance qualification i.e. CA, ICWA or equivalent
