Role Purpose:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced technologist with strong business acumen to join us as a Solutions Architect. You will act as the key integrator to successfully bridge the engineering, product management, commercial, sales teams to build highly scalable applications that will be used by our millions of users (growers/sales/marketing teams) across APAC.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the architecture definition and technical consultation of digital transformation programs
• Work with different technology vendors & technical teams to build a best of breed technology architecture
• Collaborate with business development and proposal delivery, architecture assessments and technical qualifications
• Advise our technical teams to optimize the recommended product suite in defining, building and deploying end to end solutions
• Lead the translation of the client’s business requirements into systems design
• Drive the development of prototypes and technology demonstrators within microservice architecture, cloud-native solutions
• Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects and help develop project plans and risk assessment
• Establish measurable criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs

Critical Knowledge Experience and Capabilities:

• 8+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and development
• In-depth knowledge of integration approaches and architectures
• Deep understanding of the cloud-native solution, microservices-architecture and at least one or more of the following areas: API orchestration architecture, mobile-front end architecture, customer engagement architecture
• Ability to bridge the gap between technology and business
• Self-driven, curious and a fast-learner, and able to take responsibility for personal growth and development
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate between technical and business teams
• Knowledge of backend technologies – Node.JS, Java, SQL, or NoSQL, Spring boot, Kafka, Spark, Kong
• Explicit and extensive agile delivery experience
• Good understanding of automation and CI/CD (test and build automation)
• Excellent collaborator, working in fully agile product or software delivery teams regionally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
