Job Description

Role purpose:

Syngenta HR is committed to deliver best in class employee experience through augmenting core capabilities with technical savviness, agile mindset, customer centricity & data fluency within our workforce. For delivering on these capabilities with key focus on HR Technology and Process, the HR Systems Performance & Talent Lead is responsible for assessing business needs and leveraging Workday functionality to derive the best solutions.  Must be able to see the “big picture” yet detail oriented to perform configuration tasks (Analysis to Deploy).

Accountabilities

The HR Systems Performance & Talent role is responsible for partnering with Syngenta’s global stakeholders to deliver the configurations associated with the annual performance & talent cycle and all associated tasks, inclusive of previous years lessons learnt and updates to process based on process reviews.

Key Skills:

  •  Implementing, configuring and supporting Time & Absence module of Workday, including Time tracking.
  • Partner with and influence stakeholders from a process and technology perspective
  • Configuration of Workday security domains and maintaining security within business processes pertaining to Absence and Time Tracking
  • Owning end to end implementation of Workday time tracking and absence implementation from a technical perspective
  • Hands on knowledge of implementing Workday Time Tracking and Absence management
  • Delivering all standard as well custom reports for Time and Absence in line with Syngenta's Workday reporting standards
  • Proactively propose and implement solutions to improve processes and data integrity, enhancing the end-user’s experience in Absence management domain
  • Analyzing Workday Release Features, adopting new functionalities of Absence and Time tracking by partnering with stakeholder
  • Delivery of functional enhancements as well as improvements in line with Functions needs for Absence and Time tracking
  • Cross Functional Partnerships where Performance & Talent activities dip, to learn other functional modules and support the wider team
  • Build out support materials to enable quality incident management
  • Assist as the SME for Absence and Time tracking modules, whereby support team are unable to resolve incidents

Knowledge & Skills.

  •  Intermediate level of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.
  •  Strong Workday Business Process Experience (5 Years + including Core HCM, Absence & Time, etc.)
  • Strong Analytical skills and a solid understanding of HR core business functions
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change
  • Desire to expand knowledge and expertise to learn new areas of Workday
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to meet stringent deadlines, to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Provides guidance to end users regarding their requests when needed
  • Analyze system functionality with customer and identify gaps to provide proactive resolutions

Qualifications

Work Experience

  • Overall, 7–8 years’ experience in HR applications with minimum of 5 years’ experience of Workday application delivery, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Considerable, demonstrable experience in driving process improvements within HR systems as well as HR operations
  • Should have knowledge in 3rd party integration of time application
  • Candidate should have done at least 1 end to end implementation for Time & Absence for multiple countries (Including Time tracking)
  • Candidate should have experience in rolling out Absence module in various countries.
  • Candidate should have experience in fixing issues, deploying new enhancement based on Workday releases.

 Critical Experience       

  • Prior experience in large multi-national organization.
  • Experience in HR Technology and HR Process Digitization
  • Hands on experience in Workday including leadership of domain
  • Experience in global stakeholder management
  • Experience in change management
  • Delivers results
