This role supports the Company Director by assisting with drafting, documentation and project coordination for infrastructure and water-related projects.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Drafting Support:
- Produce and edit technical drawing using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
- Create diagrams, layouts and site plans for project documentation.
Documentation Assistance
- Assist in compiling and formatting technical reports and documents.
- Ensure clear record-keeping and version control of all project files.
Technical Input:
- Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity estimates.
- Review and adhere to relevant municipal standards and client specifications.
Project Coordination
- Help track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Support communication with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
- National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or final year student)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
