Job Description

The primary purpose of the SQL Systems Analyst position is to assist with the implementation and support involving report writing/creation, systems testing, user training, and special projects.  This role requires technical skills and the ability to enhance skillsets in MS SQL, Crystal Reports, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to understand the structure of all company software programs
  • Create and maintain analytical reports based on system fields as directed by department lead within Business Intelligence and Crystal Reports by creating SQL queries
  • Create ad-hoc reports based on client needs and requirements gathering sessions
  • Solve data issues and problems by reviewing data with SQL queries to identify potential solutions
  • Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including assisting with coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
  • Assist in the review of existing systems to increase efficiencies throughout the company
  • Monitor and manage internal IT tickets with our ITSM tool
  • Import and export data from excel spreadsheets and other database formats
  • Month-end reporting, data entry, and daily administrative functions


  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field or Mathematics
  • 1-3 years’ experience with SQL preferred
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand logic
  • Highly self-motivated to complete daily tasks and is a self-starter
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize daily assignments to maximize productivity
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel and ability to learn company software
  • Outstanding rapport building and verbal communication skills
