Job Description

We’re looking for a bright, self-motivated, eager-to-learn developer to become a part of our Information Systems team. Working under the supervision of the Information Systems (I.S.) Manager, the I.S. Developer will do the following:

  • Work with company leadership and internal customers to define business requirements
  •  Implement solutions that increase the efficiency and management of our organization
  • Develop solutions on the Salesforce Force.com platform (APEX, Visualforce, Workflows, etc.)
  • Develop web apps and web services (C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure, CosmosDB, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Provide administration and support for internal Salesforce users

The mission of Synergex’s Information Systems team is to serve as a force-multiplier for our internal staff.  We accomplish this mission by acting as both Software Engineers and Business Analysts.  Our job is to work with our internal staff to identify the need for change within our organization, and to fulfill these needs through a combination of engineering, reporting, and process modification.

Qualifications

You have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years programming experience in a production environment preferred
  • A solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Strong debugging and unit testing skills
  • Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
  • Ability to reference and understand system documentation to support design, testing, and programming efforts
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with internal customers and end users
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  •  (Desirable) Experience with or desire to learn Salesforce/Force.com, Visualforce, APEX
  • (Desirable) Azure, JavaScript, EC2, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS experience
  • (Desirable) Experience interfacing with RESTful web services
