Warehouse Lead reports to Warehouse Manager and works closely with the Accounting Department, Sales Department, and Procurement Department to ensure that the Warehouse is ready to receive incoming raw ingredients, pull ingredients for production and prepare finished goods for outbound shipment. Leads a team of warehouse associates to ensure timely job functions related to the Warehouse Department. [Text Wrapping Break]Responsibilities: 

• Assist Warehouse manager to provide work direction to warehouse associates daily to increase warehouse efficiency and accuracy 

• Perform data entry function as part of warehouse inventory management system 

• Conduct inventory cycle counts on a regular basis 

• Communicate to Warehouse Manager to ensure a smooth flow of product between departments 

• Acts as a liaison between management and team members. Speaks respectively of company and team members 

• Enforce company policies and procedures. Provides feedback to Manager when inconsistencies are observed 

• Meet deadlines and goals as established by Warehouse Manager 

• Apply problem solving skills and proactively identify issues. Assists in troubleshooting and recommends resolution 

• Trains warehouse associates. Provides feedback to Manager on strengths and development needs of team members 

• Assists with projects, tracks data and produces any necessary reports 

• Assists in tracking warehouse staffing needs and schedules and related documentation 

• Monitors employee break schedules and holds them accountable 

• Maintains and enforces company Safety and Security policies 

• Perform other duties as assigned 

Warehouse Focused Responsibilities 

• Continuously review stock level for the pick phase 

• Evaluate stock report on going to ensure replenishment of product when available 

• Load and unload incoming/outbound trucks as needed 

• Replenish stock levels throughout warehouse as needed 

• 2 years warehouse experience.  Proven leadership qualities and demonstrated good judgment is a plus. Leads by example 

• Food handling experience a plus 

• Inventory management 

• Basic math skills 

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred 

• Excellent communication and organizational skills 

• Ability to multi-task and build relationships 

• Exemplary attendance record. Strong work ethic 

• Flexibility and the ability to handle change in a positive manner 

• Physical requirement including frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 100 lbs; For instances when employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs and 100 lbs they must work in teams of two or use the proper equipment and tools for the job/task at hand. Ability to walk and stand for at least 2 hours or more at a time; ability to work in a cooler or freezer for at least 2 hours or more at a time, etc.
