We are seeking: Candidates with Masters + 5 yrs; OR Bachelors + 7 yrs; OR HSD + 10 yrs exp as a Data Analyst + background in merchandising OR retail OR eComm + Excel (Advanced-formulas, macros) + forecasting exp. Data Analysis (not data scientist) that has that business acumen. This role is 12 mo w/potential to extend, Fully onsite in Plano, TX. Shortlisting Monday. 3 rounds virtual Interviews.

HM Summary: Extremely analytical w/merchandising background. Working on forecasting in QCD (Quarterly Commercial Deal). Souped up excel sheet w/all promos in it, then project what they think forecast will be for 1-2 qrtrs, then held to those numbers. They acquire inventory based on those numbers. Read data, be extremely detail oriented and move fast. Changes are daily, sometimes hourly. Think about it, analyze the data and give the output.

In some cases, they will help w/PUMI submittal. This is their chance to present their financial information to their leaders to approve or deny. This is for the ME (mobile enhancements) product line. They are coming in at the end of a launch and they will be making some big assumptions based on this launch.

Excel: Advanced (formulas, macros).

This is technically a backfill, but role has just moved from another team to hers.

Top skills: Analytical, Performance Management, Strategic Planning.

EDU: Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred, minimum 5 yrs exp. Open to HSD + 10+ yrs experience.

EXP: 7+ years of experience in eCommerce or related industry. Experience managing eCommerce Categories of $50 million + minimally (preference).

She would like merchandising or retail or eComm experience – required.

This is 100% eCommerce for Samsung.com; so eComm, not Retail.

This role would NOT be part of the site merchandising, someone else on the team already does that. This role IS focused on analytics.

Data is mobile enhancements, buds, watch, ring. 100% analysis and forecasting in QCD.
