Job Overview:

Cloud Security Engineer responsible for maintaining the security of cloud infrastructure by identifying, characterizing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities. The role will involve working with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure security best practices are implemented during the design, testing, and deployment of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

•            Identify and assess security risks in cloud infrastructure, and work on organizing remediation plans.

•            Collaborate with cloud engineers and vendors to implement automated solutions for vulnerability management.

•            Conduct security audits and assessments of cloud environments.

•            Utilize security tools to detect and resolve vulnerabilities in cloud systems, including Ankor, Tenable, and Checkpoint Software.

•            Work with internal teams to ensure security measures are integrated into cloud deployments.

•            Monitor and address security alerts within cloud environments, leveraging industry standard monitoring tools.

•            Assist in the transition to Red Hat OpenShift and ensure that security practices are aligned with this shift.

•            Provide guidance on the security implications of automation and cloud infrastructure management.

 Must Have Skills:

•            Strong experience in cloud security, including working with cloud infrastructure security tools.

•            Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Red Hat OpenShift.

•            Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and risk mitigation strategies.

•            Experience with vulnerability assessment tools like Ankor, Tenable, and Checkpoint Software.

•            Experience with security monitoring tools and performance optimization.

•            Strong collaboration skills, working with internal teams and vendors to address security concerns.

•            Knowledge of automated methods for reporting and remediating vulnerabilities.

Good to Have Skills:

•            Familiarity with IMS and VoIP technologies.

•            Experience with cloud performance and security monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

•            Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell scripting) for automating security tasks.
