Our client connects students with jobs during and after college -- from Campus Rep roles to bartending gigs to freelancing opportunities. Businesses can post a job for free, and students can browse through jobs and apply for free, as well.

Our client is looking for a passionate and skilled front-end developer who is as obsessed with user experience as they are, and loves taking design concepts and turning them into a reality. The work you do will directly help students across the country find jobs every single day.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with the CEO, CTO, Designer, and Product Manager on brainstorming and implementing new features that will drive the business

Work closely with the engineering team to implement designs into beautiful HTML and SASS, both contributing to the core website as well as pages for other strategic projects

Ensure all pages are mobile-optimized, while developing for (and testing against) our client's full set of supported desktop and mobile browsers

Take responsibility for our SASS stylesheets and ensuring that components are well-constructed and modular enough to be used site-wide

HTML5/SASS - You should be extremely proficient in building well-architected HTML and SASS as part of a large application

Mobile - Experience with mobile optimization for the web

Javascript - You should be extremely capable with Javascript and JS frameworks. AngularJS experience is not required but is the framework our client uses and you'll quickly become an expert in

Experience - Our client is looking for someone with at least 2 years of front-end development experience. Given that they're hiring both junior and senior positions, anywhere from 2 to 100 years of experience would be great :)

Communication skills - It is essential that you are able to communicate and coordinate well with the many different parts of the team who will give you feedback—designers, back-end engineers, the founders, and more

NY-based - Our client will want you to work most days out of our NYC office in midtown Manhattan
