 The Synapse portfolio has grown to over a 100 startups across North America. Our brand has taken off in hot markets such as Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Vancouver (and more), and we've reached a point in time where Synapse needs to scale with more (wo)man power. Our goal is to build a distributed recruiting team giving our team the luxury of working from home!

 We are looking for experienced headhunters who will live and breathe a simple philosophy - Helping companies reach their goals by hiring the right people; meanwhile, making a boat-load of cash. As we're looking to become a firm with more of a full-service offering, we're open to Full-Desk Recruiters coming from the following backgrounds: Executive, Sales & Marketing, Technical, Product + Design, Legal and Finance. We are only interested in Full-Desk Recruiters - which means we expect you to bring in new clients as well as source candidates. In this sound business approach, other Synapse recruiters with different specialities will help you close more deals, and you will also be able to work on the accounts of other team members; really a win-win situation for the whole team!

 We will teach you our unique recruitment methods, but we are also excited to blend in techniques and methodologies that have proven successful throughout your career. We don't believe in the standard 9-5, and we don't think recruiters should be caged in an office. Your duties will include (and definitely not limited to):

  • Prospecting and signing new clients.
  • Maintaining and fostering relationships with top level executives.

  • .Matching client requirements with the right candidates.

  • Reaching out to and contacting potential candidates.
  • Qualifying candidates for the right fit, as well as ensuring they are a cultural fit.
  • Working with Synapse account managers and clients to ensure the interview process flows smoothly
  • Maintaining rapport with candidates and clients
  • Closing and negotiating deals - AKA getting awesome people hired by awesome companies!

 We know what it takes to hire, and we're not going to take any shortcuts in building our own team. In order for Synapse to continue through this hyper-growth stage, we need smart, passionate, and hungry people. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years recruitment experience
  • Proven Business and client development experience, 
  • Proven track record and high billings
  • Killer customer success and sales acumen
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proven negotiation abilities
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Dynamic and vibrant personality
  • Ability to handle rejection
  • Ability to work remotely

  • You will need a good computer and phone if you want to be working in the fast-paced recruitment industry.
  • You will have flexible hours and have the luxury of working from home. We don't care about 9-5, what we care about is RESULTS!

IN TERMS OF COMPENSATION: We're looking for people who want to make a lot of money. Depending on your level of risk aversion, we're willing to listen, and put the most ideal compensation packages in place for the right people. If this means a higher base salary and lesser commissions, or little-to-nothing base with rocket high commission percentages, whatever makes you feel comfortable - we will accommodate! What we're thinking is $50-80k base, 2-3x commission.. Realistic OTE @ $100-200k.
